On my way to work this morning, and stopped of in the garage to get fuel this morning, came out after paying and a guy walked upto me and asked if it was forsale.... i said 'could be for the right price'. He then proceded to tell me about his mini history etc, real nice fella, gave me his name and number, and told me if i do to give him a ring.

The first show I took my Sprint to was MITP at Cornbury Park in 2000. After parking in concours and polishing it some guy spent ages trying to get me to sell it to him, he was offering £20,000.
I seriously doubt it! |

I had a guy come up to me when I was filling mine up with petrol a little while back, and say "thats the nicest mini I've seen in years"

Get this a lot with the lamm. Why do people automatically assume its for sale and offer you a price they think will secure it.

I always give them an outrageous figure and they usually back off at once. If by any chance they went for it I know I could build another better one for half the money anyway. |
