Thinking ahead to when we go to wire my Mini, I'm trying to figure out if I should use my current loom, or if I should buy a new one. The dilemma comes from the fact that the car (and loom) is 1967. The engine is a later model Metro Turbo. The car will stay essentially stock, but for the engine.

Are there specific electrical bits on this engine that would make a newer loom the wise choice?

Sold the turbo and seeing what the C20XE can do!

nope, not at all *smiley*

its the same electrical connections as any mini, just power to the coil.
