I'm trying to fit a Sierra cosworth 2wd IC on my Mini (not clubman). Does this pice of kit realy fit the Mini. Where does the alternator go? How much do I have to cut out of the body? Every bit of help is wanted cause I'm stuck *oh well* pictures even better.

i've got one to go in mine, not decided where to put it yet or whether i'm gonna put a clubby front on it.

if it goes in while i've still got a roundnose then it'll go level with the slam panel but set back a touch and i'll have to see about getting some new end caps made up or re-route the top hose as i think it just clears the alternator on mine.

jimster i think thats turbo tims mini.

tellskog intercooler fitment is really all about fiddling about and trying different things to get them in, the pic TD put up should be very helpful for you but i dont think that anyone will be able to give you any specific instrucksion as every engine bay on here is different and everybodys intercooler posistions are different too*smiley*

no longer a series, but still 1.3 turbo.

Cheers chaps, it fits perfectly around the mini head, the inlet and out let pipes on the intercooler are made for the mini, also it works very well, last year I was using a pace products intercooler and noticed a difference using this one, it works a treat.

oh forgot, you only need to trim the corners off the intercooler, they are only flat pieces of aluminium and and stick up from the corners.
