Right have recently put metro turbo engine in my 1000.

All is fine on the startup front, starts and idles properly, but when you atempt to push the engine throuh the rev range it stutters and tries to die off, when you push it past 3000 rpm ish as soon as you let off the throttle it stalls. myself and mechanic believe it is fuel starvation. although this problem cannot be rectified through tampering with air-fuel mix.

The fuel system is as recomended but using a previously used fuel presure regulator and pump. both apear to work properly but obviously we still have this problem.

Any other ideas would help and if anyone has encountered this problem before please let me know how to fix this!

Thanks T3NHP

no lol set the fuel at 3.5 to 4psi at idle

i had similar issues with my last build,

1 is the needle valve in the carb full of shit and not flowing enough/ sealing off properly

2 the carb gasket between the plenum and the carb does it have the hole needed to pressurise the hif's float bowl ( search for T peice trick on here aswell )

3 oil in daspot?

4 no leaks anywhere? the part throttle lean-off pipe can be a twat if its still connected

number 2 sounds most probable but check all..

Why on earth would more fuel pressure fuck the crank?

Mine gets in the way a bit, but only when it is up. If it is down it does not cause a problem.
