Hi
well i have just finished installing a metro turbo lump in my 1000, there has been shoe hornin issues every step of the way! i have the standard T3 on my engine with the factory manifold and exaust elbow, from a install perspective the T3 isnt hard to put in, there is a bit of arseing around with the bulkhead box and had to loose the heater but not much hassle apart from that! ive been told that the T2 has advantages of picking up boost in the lower rev range wheras the T3 can handle larger boost due to its size, id say the t2 would be better suited for a very nippy agile mini and the T3 as a strait line monster! hope this helps..... Everone else keeps the heeter, the response by T3nhp should be taken with a pinch of salt it makes quite a few sweeping statements that aren't exactly right.

Most people just make new brackets and mount the heater slightly further back in the cabin.

Look at www.turbo-mini.com for some great how to advice.

I'm working in crewe tomorrow how's the weather?
