I've had a good sniff about but cannot find the figures anywhere

Can anyone tell me the standard height of a 1275 block before any skimmage, and also the standard head thickness.

Cheers guys

I think he's after the total height of the block Tom. Is the 8 thou you're quoting the standard deck height?

I might be able to measure a block tomorrow t2clubby if nobody beats me to it.

I thought that all heads were 2.75"

Just measured mine with a steel rule, so not very accurate, and it is 8 7/8" or 8.875".

ok, so i'm a thou off lol

I estimated it from what is known...

stroke 3.2"
rods 5.75"
accralite compression height 1.496"
accralite deck height approx 30thou (from what i have seen)

so 1.6 (half the stroke)+5.75+1.496+0.030= 8.876"

You're assuming that I can measure to 0.001" accuracy with a steel rule. I'm good but not that good *happy*
