and are fitted with an internal injection rated fuel pump which keeps things nice and tidy, I'm sure there are a couple of people on this site using this set-up

i'm using an spi which is the same as such.

its quieter, easier to fit and neater.

saying that im selling mine to get an ally tank of some form! *smiley*

It's quieter for sure... If you've got a good one, you can't even hear it!!!
Some you can just hear, but a lot quieter than the 'turbo' pump!
Basically, it's simpler, neater, easier, and a faster fix, especially if welding an outlet onto the tank isn't for you!

Only problem: The MPi (maybe the SPi aswell - anyone confirm this???) has a very short filler neck. Basically, it's difficult to put a fancy fuel cap on it...

The tank is also a little slimmer than the stock tank, so the 'strap' that holds it in is only just, and i mean JUST long enough. Ideally, you'd want to cut the strap and take around 40mm out of the length then weld it back together - or re-drill the hole in the 'front' end of it and bolt it back in...

Prices vary greatly. ?40 is cheap ?100 is expensive.

yup the filler neck is shorter *happy* as it is on all unleaded tanks it appears *indifferent*
mine had an aston type cap on an unleaded tank with no probs
