Hey folks. Happy New Year. :)

Noob here, I've done a search on the site, but couldn't find anything relating to this enquiry.
Where I can get hold of an inlet and discharge flange for a gt1544 turbo?
Preferably in 10mm stainless (but I'd take mild if thats all thats available). The inlet I'm looking for is a 3 bolt one and the discharge is a strange kidney like shape.

I'm fabricating a header and silencer system and can't seem to find the weld on flanges that I need ( to attach to the turbo to the header) anywhere.

I'm hoping some of you might be able to point me in the right direction?

Thanks for your assistance.

Matt

Welcome to TM!

Your best/cheapest bet would be to make some up tbh. 10mm stainless is a pain in the arse to work with, but the parts you need aren't too complicated.

Only other option would be to buy a manifold with the right flange, and chop it off, it would probably be horrible casting though. *oh well*

As for the downpipe, try and source one from the car the turbo is off and modifiy it to fit a turbo mini downpipe.

For my GT2056, I took the Garrett dimensions from the website, draw them up in AutoCad and got them cut out by a local laser cutting company.

If you get a batch cut, the unit price comes down significantly. I'm sure you could sell a few sets on here if you did.

I did mine (and a set of manifold to head flanges) with a hacksaw and a file, drill etc.

The outlet flange is rare, its specific to the GT15's and I think its the same on all of them. but as Tom says ATPturbo do one for the 1548:-

Problem is its to a 3"oval pipe, not ideal, and its pretty pricey once you get it to UK..

EDIT..

Ohh look at that on the garrett website.. "click for flange dimensions" Well THAT wasn't there when I needed it!!

Looks like the outlet is indeed the same as the 1548,

not sure if those 2 are the same or not but thats the 2 GT1544's listed by garrett.

i printed that off to get a couple of flanges laser cut for my GT2056.

Thanks to everyone that has posted.

I'd seen the dimensions sheet, on the Garrett website, but was hoping to find someone who had already had a run done..
I've seen an ebay shop in canada that does the same flange as APT (1548) and I think it was a bit cheaper, so that may be an option.
If I do end up getting some made I'll be sure to let you all know.

Thanks for your help.
