Hi All!
Could anyone tell me what size the oil feed thread size is on a T2 turbo from a nissan bluebird/silvia?

If i remember rightly its 7/16" with 24 tpi
Ian knows this one i think........
and he can get the oil feed pipe

mines 7/16 with 24tpi, as i found out today earls can supply you with the correct adaptor the takes it to -4, ill get the part no.

the one i got from iain wasnt right for my car

my t25 from a nissan 200sx has 7/16th and 24tpi - im guessing yours from the silvia will be the same

i can find out from where the hoses ome from if needed

thought you wanted to change the fitting on yours nik?

the problem is that there are two. the hoses i order have to be specials so you must make sure you know which yours is as specials obviously cant be returned.

i was going to but i thought it would be easier if i sourced it, instead of sending it back and forth, not to worry

i got mine from trident racing supplies, based at silverstone 01327 857 822, what you want is a 7/16" 24tpi to -4, male-male adaptor, part no 591942, there somewhere about ?4 each (i think)

seemed decent guys,ideal for all you demon tweeks style stuff at good prices, i.e that crappy air hose (identical to avonbar) is available from them for ?18.05 a metre

I'd go the route of the adapter

7/16 24tpi - Jic -4 fitting. This is the most common ive encountered. the other size is 1/2" x 20

Trident are on my B**dy expensive list. I only get stuff from them if i have to. As an example i wanted some CV joints and asked them to quote me on 10 (nice order) they simply took the book price and multiplied by 10 !!! i ended up getting them for less than half the price trident wanted to charge me. But sometimes its convienient to get stuff from them. If you want to get ya adapters try Helen 3 units down in goodridge or Earls on the other side of the old silverstone main entrance (2 doors down from GP raceware). I think trident buy most of there bits from Earls

do you reckon? i thought they were quite good, i went to goodridge and they couldnt help me at all, then went to trident who fiddled around for ages and then found it, admittedly i did pick it up from earls though!

I'm supprised goodridge couldn't sort you. Mind you the silverstone branch is just a branch and the earls over at dockings is the uk distributor, so has the stock on site.

I'll beat all of them on supply of stuff like this.

my hose is a goodridge hose - i got it through avonbar who didnt deal with goodrich directly but through some goodrich dealer, im not sure of the ins and outs But avonbar can sort you out
