i know, another off topic chat!

still looking for a car for my brother and have been offered a 96'N' 318Ti compact. its got 86k with full history. a few rust spots in the usual places but nothing too bad. Generally in good nick, clean interior etc. MOT till June

do you think its worth a go at £650?

Sounds about right to me, if he knows fuck all about cars, why not suggest that if he is serious, he lays out £40 on an MOT test before purchase to eliminate any real nasties?

the car is a trade-in through a mate; Idea is to get a years ticket on it for him before he picks it up whcih should be formality in all honesty

i've not tested it yet but the guidance i've had is brakes, coil springs and suspension bushes being the usual suspects
