it doesn't get tested on the MOT, thats why i haven't had mine connected for years. but i'm pretty sure the cops can do you for not having one.

woohoo mines done, me and T2clubby spent this afternoon fitting it on. couple of bits of advice though.

dont use JB weld to fix the magnet onto the drum, it kinda wraps itself around the magnet like the blob or something. i used ended up superglue instead.

make sure you get a speedo with a backlight, cant see mine for shit at night.

the circumference of a 175/50/13 yoko A539 is 1540mm with about half the tread left. *happy*
