I wonder what the emissions were?

I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.

I like the way they sprayed the crankshaft webs, conrod big ends and crankshaft tail gold as well as the block..... didn't they know it should all have been red ???

it amazes me how it could be rolling road tested - have they rolled it down the road tied to the back of a car or something else?

Rod, thats just the shitty lighting

I have been in there while some one was painting up a few engines, and to be brutaly honest, they look like painted engines. Dont get me wrong, the bloke that paints them spends a fair amount of time in doing so and does have an attention to detail. Its not as if they paint everything the same colour, nuts bolts core plugs and anything else.

as for it being rolling road tested *Rofl!*

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

Obviously you know them better than me as they're in your area - I phoned them once ages ago about a part for my Metro (from a Google search for Metro, nothing to do with eBay) but they didn't inspire me with any confidence nor have what I wanted.

But I like the link, you would think if someone was going to the trouble to try and advertise by pictures they would make a decent job of it - the head studs are half missing on the blue engine and the same gold one from eBay with the gold crankshaft is in view on the web page.....

And what's a pre-engaged starter doing on the blue A series with a pre-verto clutch and a dented old type oil filter canister under the title "we Fully Restore Engines to a High Working Standard as these images prove..." *happy*

LOL if you paint the crank & pistons red does it make the engine make more ponys

i think if you buy an engine from a company & its crap the best thing to do is return it through the windowscreen of the companys boss's car, they'll want to hear to hear what the nackered engines!

SKYLINES ARE LIKE CLITS, EVERY FLANGE SEEMS TO HAVE ONE: see this sticker on my silvia

the Search-section on this forum is blummin superb & simple to use, unlike some other forums, without the search-section & the help of this bunch of chaps on here i'll never be able to !!!Start the day with a 998cc turbo!!! :) i'm getting closer though!

The pic was taken without a flash and the colour of the crank is down to the reflection of the HPS lighting they have in their 'workshop'

And I know exatly what you are saying. My personal experiencies have been quite humorous. The guy behind the counter always seems to come out with some bull shit, and I just kept my mout shut. But since the mag feature, its been a bit different, lol

Carnforth, Lancs

You think they'd have taken the time (30 secs?) to put the plug leads on in the right order on the red engine!
