From what I've seen, many people going as far as fitting a full weld in miglia cage seem to go for composite roofs too.

Does the cage sit on boxes? If so you tack the cage together and then take out the boxes allowing it to drop 3 inches - this allows you to weld the top joints. That is what was done with mine anyway! Edited by Scruffy on 18th Jan, 2010. On 5th Sep, 2011 Vegard said:

lol. I certainly won't be cutting a letter box in the roof. I don't know about 'Butcher', but it's certainly an effective way of getting the job done !!
