how hot does a turbo cylinder head get intake side??? SKYLINES ARE LIKE CLITS, EVERY FLANGE SEEMS TO HAVE ONE: see this sticker on my silvia

hotter than an N/A engine but ........ the fuel will cool the inlet charge down somewhat the heat from the exhaust manifold and turbo is the downer, thats why i recommend using the inlet manifold heated takeoff for cooling!

What do you mean the charge of the actual casting?

i'm just after a rough guide as to how hot the casting gets around the inlet ports? would i be more than 100 deg?

I've measured temperatures at the spark plug close to 400 degrees C and exhaust gas temperatures at nearly 800 degrees C.

But if it goes through the IC before, the air is already cooler than the water, aint'it ? Unless you use a dedicated water circuit for the intake circuit to turn it in a very small chargecooler ? You'll not mend a head with any kind of epoxy gobbo.

Where is the hole through to? Pushrod holes can be sleeved for e.g.

what epoxy nic, maybe i could combine the two, a drilled out valve guide glued in with some epoxy
