IS anybody using metro turbo disc and callipers with ten inch wheels. HAve recently seen the turbo mini in miniworld which says he is in his spec. Does anybody know if he is on the site??? I know the disc would fit if they were turned down but what about the callipers is it just a case of slotting the original holes?? any help greatly appreciated as i am considering this a option if any body has any information???

YOu can slot / relocate the holes and mount them under tens but i think the bleed nipples can get in the way on some wheels..
Make sure they are bolted up tight as you can because Ive seen one come off when theve been slotted

Been Thinin that myself. It may be poissible to use allen head bolts and slighty sink the head into the caliper to hold them into position.

hi Star Mag,
my mini have not been in mini mag but i am using metro turbo disc and breaks with ten inch wheels. it works well but you have to spend quite some hours (i needed more than several days) to reshape- remake the calipers.

Have you read the thread in the Notices section on the mini classic site on fiesta calipers?

Seems like a better idea if you ask me. (Lighter weight on your suspension as well)

whats wrong with the solid 8.4 disk flanges? - im assuming its 8.4 disks you machined down?

the metro flange moves the disc out by around 6mm giveing clearance to bolt the fiesta calipers to the other side of the caliper mounting lugs on the mini hub
and yup 8.4" discs turned down to 7.9"

What other mods do you need to do to fit the metro hubs and fiesta calipers? Can the mini hubs be used or wont there be enough space?

Cheers matt :)

you need to swap the shocks from being mounted infront of the arms to behind em just so you dont risk em catching the brake pipes. and make up some brake pipe unions cos fiesta callipers are a different thread.

here's the thread on MC http://p211.ezboard.com/fminiclassicgenera...icID=6319.topic
