My fiberglass dash arrived this week, so I thought I'd give fitting it a go. Well the rollcage was a right bastard to fit round so I cut the end off it the end of the dash, I'll deal with making the join inconspicuous later.

I can't decide where to mount the instrument pod. It is perfectly in line of sight for the revs, speed, shiftlight etc on top of the dash, But I think the dash will look sparten with only 5 switches and an oil pressure guage if the Instrument pod is not mounted on the facia.

The dash will be flocked black, or failing that will be finished in material of that texture and look anyway

Here's 2 options that have been considered and I have had a third idea that is included in the poll.

Mount it on top of the dash1 Votes 1 Votes - 0%
Set it infront of the steering wheel14 Votes 14 Votes - 0%
Mount it on the far left of the facia. I.e the centre of the car above the switches1 Votes 1 Votes - 0%

mount it where you can see it.

I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.

Stoke-on-Trent. Duck.

As a 4th option on top of the dash in front of the steering wheel? Depends how high it'd be and whether it encroaches on your view? Definitely in your line of sight then though!
