no, not the girl guides u bunch of pervs :cool:, valve guides.

i've seen Bronze, Cast Iron, Steel, Silicone Bronze and Manganese Bronze.

Whats the properties fo each of these and in what order (best to worst) would you place them?

Depends on what valves you're running...

I personally have always used iron guides and stock valves, and never had a problem.

its a stg2 MED Turbo head, quoted as having steel guides, but according to calver they never made steel guides. :S

so i presume they are infact cast guides not steel, cant be bronze as i can see they are bright silver.

they'll be cast... Steel wouldn't be very good at all - unless you had bronze valves?
