just had a DAT file emailed and i can't open it, it's from a mag so i really want to view it, any ideas on what programme i need to open this?

Yes just had an email back saying i need Quark, she has now sent me a screen crab or it in jpeg, so i can see. So all sorted.

Sounds like they have emailed you from a mac. This used to happen to me in the past. It could be from any program. If you have an idea what type of file it might be try renaming the extention. eg, replace dat with jpg or pdf or whatever it might be. If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of. |
