just a quick one really. fitted the rear rubber and window but cant get the the hrome locking strip in.

stick the filler strip in the hole in the tool, then the head of the tool in the seal, opening the seal where the strip sits, then just run the tool round the rubber pushing the strip in as you go.

I found it easy with the tool, just pushing the strip along. Helps alot to warm the filler strip up first On 23rd Oct, 2009 sim_ou_nao said:

I use Autoglym rubber care nice and slippy and wont rot anything I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.

Yeah there is, but its not easy! Basically have to force it in with whatever you have to hand, something like a flat head screw driver can be used. Although I would not recommend this as it is a complete pain in the ass, just get the tool and make life easier |

bend some wire from a coat hanger into the same shape as the tool and hold it in a pair of pliers On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:

Either wait for the tool or fashion something up, but don't use a screwdriver as all that will happen is you will butcher the rubber and probably slip and scratch your paintwork.(voice of experience).

Toms right with the screw driver, your almost sure to slip out of the rubber right into that nice paint work.. Main Build
