Is there a difference between 998 and 1275 rockers. On my 998 with a 1275 head I had some 1.5 rockers. A bush has gone on one of them where I dropped a valve. So I dug around the garage and put on a set I found.

The question is are 1275 and 998 rockers any different. I don't think they are as the cams are the same, but it did get me wondering. Certainly the wear marks on the rockers i have put on don't align exactly with the valves so maybe the rockers are different? Anybody know?

Perhaps the ones I have are 1275 ones then as they seem to fit more or less ok.

im positive i tried 998 rockers on a 12g940 and they were fine, jsut the valves wernt bang in the centre of the rocker, but im positive standard 1275 rockers are like that anyways. though was quite a few years ago now :S

I bet my first wank came quicker than your first mini turbo

These new modern turbos with their quick spool up time, would make the competition harder.

The sintered ones aren't, but the pressed steel ones are. The 998 ones have a round pad whereas the 1275's is oval.

Well I have the sintered ones and they look ok. It was only that the wear marks looked slightly off that I questioned it.
