You got a link to the cage and bars you bought flip?

What's your boyfriend got to do with this? Isn't it your car?

defo bad typing on my behalf. what it should of read was...

im still tempted to get a weld in one but the other half of me is telling me to get a decent bolt in.

p.s im not into men sorry *tongue*

back on topic. 6 point safety devices one is it just a case of buying all the bit seperatly from mini spares or mini sport?

its about the best bolt in one i can find but comes to alot of money with all the bars i want. weld in is cheaper but then got the cost and effort and time involved to fit it

Ah, I see. The reason why I thought you were into men, is that if your other half was a girl, then there would be absolutely NO reason why she should have any influence on this *wink*

i had mine shot blasted & i sprayed it in red-oxide primer-how i like it, a bit industrial lookin

Personally I would go for a weld in one if I were to do it again. But as a second hand safety devices bolt in one came up at a price I couldn't refuse, I welded it in anyway with a load of extra bars.

Ha, to be fair most of the time you don't need a rollcage, only when you are rolling or crashing! Or after maximum rigidity in the shell for racing.

it is a nice feeling knowing its there but tbh if you crash in a mini your gona get hurt if its bad enough to need a cage.

i guess it is extra weight you dont need if you arnt that worried. good 40kgs in a good cage. tahts a tenth of a second *wink* lol
