lads what valve spring compressor do you use?

i have two a draper & a small 8" long sykes pickivant

i need one inbetween the sizes i have as they are both not really correct, i cant explain in text on here why, you have to see them to know

let me know what make & size you use

SKYLINES ARE LIKE CLITS, EVERY FLANGE SEEMS TO HAVE ONE: see this sticker on my silvia

the Search-section on this forum is blummin superb & simple to use, unlike some other forums, without the search-section & the help of this bunch of chaps on here i'll never be able to !!!Start the day with a 998cc turbo!!! :) i'm getting closer though!

halfords sykes pickivant thing, the biger ohc one as the one thats actually for a mini type head is rubbish and mostly bends.

thayre all a bit to bid so a socket in the combustion chamber helps a lot

using a glow plug or lambda style socket in the drill press is the easiest, as you can stick a magnet through the socket to get the collets out

Draper.

Double handle job, one at each end. Bout £30. Fab.

Richard.

Minivanless, but reluctantly happy living with the decision. There'll be another one day.
