i got a 130 mph genuine cooper s binacle with oil pressure gauge and water temp gauge bargained down to £110 today.

to be honest i dont know what it was worth it was an impulse buy, the main clock is in perfect condition and the 2 small ones are ok condition, the binacle itself is in exellent condition as well...

what would you say this was worth did i get a good deal?

i dont care if not as ill still use it lol...

opinions?

cheers :)

I don't know about the price of those clocks, but couldn't believe how much the auto jumble sellers were charging for what in my eyes was a load of old crap. Someone wanted £190 for a standard, non rebuilt gearbox.

There were some bargains to be had, but it didn't seem like many.

Ditto. There was some serious crap being touted for serious cash. However there did appear to be a few bargains out there.

If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of.

I was looking for a half rear panel. All I saw was a used one that was rotten and the seller wanted £60. It was worse than the one on my car!

I think I got a good deal on a set of H-Beam rods from the nice Mrs Kimmins.

Otherwise, it was good to meet up with some of you guys.

I think that's a fair price, but that depends on which year it's from. A late mk3 and it's not that special, if it's a 970 or 1071 one you might have done an OKish deal. Nothing else.

it was nice to go to a show after not being to one for so long, hopefully next time ill have a mini to go in providing i get moving on mine...

i was behind an old couple in a standard rover cooper and they where absolutly stonking down the road lol, i found it rather funny lol.

i think at autojumbles prices can vary loads and you can get ripped of or get a good deal... i find it more fun looking around them than in the stores tho lol :)

Silver ones that said minispares on them? If they are the ones i am thinking of they were alot heavier than i thought they would be! certainly on par with my original starmags!

I got a front subframe for £30 didnt think that was bad. The shows auto jumble seams to get more exspensive and lower quality every year!

I think that's true about most mini autojumbles these days.

I cant remember them saying minispares on, may well have done.

I thought they were bloody light, especially compared to my 13's!

I think everyone who cares about weight lifted one up, I certainly did, then decided I prefer carls wheel design.
