Hi all, been a while since I posted anything on here.

I went to the mini fair yesterday at bingley hall where I spoke to the turbominivan. I wanted to say what a nice guy he was and what a gorgeous job he's done of his van. whilst I was speaking to him we brushed on the subject of megasquirt, I was wondering if there's any websites or if anyone can point me in the right direction just for a bit of genral information on this, any help would be much appreciated.

Ben.

As above for general info but for its potential for fuelling the A series in 5 port form, have a read through the "A series injection" sub-section of this forum and the MS-Extra forums

Cheers for the comments guys.

Was bloody good to meet you guys again and for the first time - including all of us wearing our new 'uniforms' which looked really good - top job Ollie.

Brett's given you the details I would have posted. Thanks Brett - nice to see you yesterday.

The guy at ExtraEFi is Phil Ringwood.

I got my MS1 Extra v3 ECU built by him in 2006 and it is bloody great.

It not only fires my direct wasted spark coilpack but also controls my water injection and cooling fan, plus has a tacho output, fuel pump relay output, runs a MAP sensor and TPS input, coolant and air temp sensors, 36-1 toothed crank wheel and VR sensor.

Phil's a top bloke, I cannot praise him enough, including all the e-mail assistance I received from him when I cocked up my programming and needed him to repair my ECU after I blew one of the coil drivers. He did this for free.

He sells ECU's and writes the 'Extra' code.

He's also one of the top contributors to the Megasquirt Forums.

Good luck with yours.

Richard.

Minivanless, but reluctantly happy living with the decision. There'll be another one day.
