My mates going into hospital for a bit, and I have some cracking audiobooks on my itunes, but he doesnt have an mp3 player or the like, and theyre too big to fit on one cd

i would use something like audacity because its free, pretty sure you can import mp3's into it |

Infact i'm 100% sure, i use it for importing and chopping up for samples.

yeah only contraint would be the size of the files my old laptop couldnt handle to much through audacity but i'd recommend it and google the encoder file to dl it :) |

cheers guys, but ive come up against a problem, as ive downloaded them off itunes, its a protected AAC with a DRM (I have no idea what this means btw)

think i might have it sussed, found a drm remover on www.downloads.com with a free 30 day trial "Turbo's make torque, and torque makes fun"

Not sure on the length of audiobooks, but you can always burn it to a cd and then burn the cd back to mp3 format.
