hi guys just a few questions, first off i have standard metty turbo brakes and callipers with new ferodo pads and a servo, they seem to have been bled fine but it takes about 8 days to stop! would i be wise in upgrading the discs as they are not as in good cond as i would like or do you think its somthing else?
also the time has come for suspension upgrades i have hi-los all round but was thinking of getting coilovers, the car is at standard height (its quite hard to lower running 8*13's) huddersfield spares said "just wind back the tie rods a bit" this seems a bit dodgy and will surely affect the steering sorry about all the text.

Your brakes should be wonderful... I'd find out whats wrong before uprating anything!

I run std metty calipers with vented disks and Mintex 1144 pads, but the pads take so long to heat up on track its not really worth it!

Suspension wise... your going to have difficultly lowering your mini massivly with those wheels on, without serious body mods to the front and rear arches.

Using Hi-los to lower your mini is no issue at all, although you are right it does change the suspension geometry!
