if you had a whole heap of cash to spend on a gearbox(2k) what would you spend it on? My starting point is a Quaife LSD but then what? |

Not Quaife for the gearset - unless they have found a source of bronze baulk rings... On 17th Nov, 2014 Tom Fenton said:

I would get some rebuild kits, some clean steel, a 3ph milling machine, dividing head, some cutters, a BIG lathe BIG AND CHEAP off ebay and make my own gears. Then when they wore, I would have the means to make more. I would also lighten my rods properly and make allsorts of other stuff as well. It would be great. Bugger off, I'm getting there. |

O.K. then, so not Quaife. Who should I be giving my cash to then JKD or Tran-X? Which is better? Also, what would be a good final drive ratio, considering that i'm using 13" wheels? |

The Minispares range are compatible with the old Tran-X stuff. On 13th Jul, 2012 Ben H said:
