it just won't go... AGAIN (Part 2)

Just been for a drive after fixing my so called problem with the magic Tee-Piece. But after some time the engine started to die on me once again.

On examiniation i noticed the fuel filter was only half full but on previouse occasions it has been full. Is this normal, what should it be?

Could I have an air lock in the fuel pipe, have you heard of this happening before? It was just a thought.

forgot to say, I also have a slight tapping noise inside the pressure regulator. when placing fingers on it you can feel it (no dirty thoughts there please).

it could be the fuel pump giving up maybe? if you can feel the vibrations in the reg, there's nothing inside them that can tap really i dont think.

I've got a spare fuel reg if you want to try swapping it over see if that sorts it, being as your only up the road from me.

i reckon definately DEFINATELY definately the fuel regulator i had EXACTLY this problem, the t piece would fix it temporarily. I also have a spare fuel regulator, think the guy from jamacia is having one of them i need to get a price to post it there :)
