You have obviously never owned a Peugeot. Why use the common as muck M6 or M8 when M7 will do?

I've never found M9, but guess what Peugeot like to use for head bolts? Yep, 11x1.5

M9 is used for some electrical stuff.

I have some fibreoptic connectors at work that are M9xsomething silly.

the old minisport ones use them, which as said are metro bleed nipples.
i tried using peugeot 205 rear calliper bleed nipples but were a fraction too short :(
