Haha, always the way!

Joe, is there a hole in the front subframe as standard, where mine are bolted to?

I can't remember If I drilled it from scratch or just opened it up?

erm, not sure... I welded a braket on for mine.

I think yours are bolted on with the bolt that goes throgh the front panel/ teardrop mount.

As long as it's anything but tin I imagine it will be fine. Looks like good work, and fairly good gauge metal... Matty?

there very cheap, i dont like the ugly box section brace bars you can buy, id rather spend an extra £10-£15 and get some nice ones that you cant buy off the shelf.

Im doing them for £40 + postage a set. I was only going to do a one off set, but as there seems to be a fair demand I'll knock a jig up. They're made out of 16 gauge mild steel and will be finished in gloss black.

EDITED to state price is + postage. cheers.

Ive pretty much finished Gregh55's brace bars and ive knocked up a jig using them.

Greg can you check they fit ok on yours? If so then im good to go to make some more.

As one part of the brace bar mounts to the body and one to the subframe there could be a slight difference in dimensions...hopefully it'll be small enough to not matter.

Can you start a list of who wants some, so I know what quantity to order the material in. Im going on holiday in a weeks time so I'll be looking at getting these made early march.

I'm in, but just checking, how do these mount to the subby? Bracket welded on or other? Either's good.

Yep they bolt on at the front using an M10 bolt.

Jamz, I can make a set longer for you if you like with longer 'tabs' at the front. I'll leave them blank so you can drill them where you like.

Tbh I can't see how they can twist without the actual bar bending. *oh well*
