Matthew, can't help with the running issues, but if the doors are open on my car the alarm light stays on constant instead of flashing - do you have door switches fitted?

immobaliser wont cause those running issues, you have a wiring fault. probably an earth you ahve missed. turbo 16v k-series 11.9@118.9 :)

yes its the door switches, as the light remains on whenever these are to earth. |

Running issues sound like an air leak on the inlet to be honest |

Thanks guys, your information has helped me get the alarm working properly. It was the door switches [no doors fitted at the moment].
