Ive never heard of it, but im very interested.

If it was as easy as he says, he'd probably do it rather than the Micra head.

Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph

Probably the easiest is the Fiat 1.2 8V head,

If anyone wants a CAD drawing of the head gasket let me know *wink*

Wasn't the CBR600 head mentioned a while ago in one of the mags?
I think it was an Aussie who had carried it out.

That's the guy who did it first. It's a realy genious conversion, he even drives the oilpump via one of the head's cams! No need for a jackshaft... :)

Realy like it - but hey, I allready bought the K100 head :)

[X] nail here for new monitor

These new modern turbos with their quick spool up time, would make the competition harder.

I dont like the size of the timing pulleys used,

the crank one must be tiny.

just the amount the flex the belt,

also on the aus mini forum mr rosenthal was going on about not liking the lack of belt wrap on the K conversion, I had to chuckle considering there will be many teeth less engagement on his CBR conversion.

still apart from that it looks good.

The problem with these is the combustion chamber size, it is way too small. Rosenthals conversion has a 10mm plate on top of the block to try and get some volume not real good for chamber squish.

Near Paris - France

I think that cams on bikes - and especially sporty 600 jap engines - are a little too hairy for road use.

I mean peak torque is usually in the 10000 rpm region !

So for me it's gonna be a Renault 1,2 16V head (probably much alike the Fiat head).

Got it for free anyway ...

Rusty by nature
