leeds/wakefield.

no it wont, at 106 LCA its too tight for a turbo,[too much overlap] you need a can somewhere near the 109/ 110 degs LCA

stoke-on-trent

that wont be great for a turbo build, better with a kent 266 or nat asp mg metro cam, or the avonbar phase 2 is popular with a few on here

plus the duration is too long, you'll push th usefull rpm too high

See what ?
I you can find some useful rpm TOO high ?

New question :
big cams are no good for turbo but what about blowers ?

Rusty by nature

with blowers you can get away with it a bit more as the air is being generated due to crank rpm rather than exhaust flow.

In fact i belive a race cam on a charger will be farly drivable, but you will be pushing a hell of a lot of fuel out the exhaust,

abot a 286 is probably as far as you can practically go with a charger,

the 274 is a lot better due to the wide LCA

I was planning to go with a Kent MD274 on a 998 turbo.
Has anyone done it?
If yes. Did it work well?

If the 1380 in my car isn't quick enough when its in, then I'm going to lob a gt1752 and 285 scatter cam at that engine and see what happens.

As long as things start happening by 4k and it pulls to 7500, I'll be happy.
