I belive a standard metty cam shaft is the same as the turbo, only the n/a mg had a sporty profile?

How well will the engine run on a standard metty cam?

The Metro Turbo is just fitted with the standard A+ cam, unlike the normally aspirated MG Metro which is fitted with a "sportier" profile, not unlike the Kent 266.
Fitting a decent cam in your Turbo motor will be a huge benefit, especially when coupled with other mods.
The engine will run fine on the standard cam, but it will limit power output somewhat.
