I'm taking my Supercharged MPI for a re-mapping and rolling road session on Tuesday.

I'm still having some problems with the cold start, idle, miss fires and overfuelling..... *frown*

I've convinced the wife, that spending £115 per hour to get re-mapped is a worthwhile investment (when I told her what they do - it was like looking up a rabbits arse)

I've not got a huge amount of money to spend, so I'm looking at about 3-4 hours max, so hopefully it will be ok.

I've checked the basics, like exhaust for leaks, changed the oil & filter, checked plug gap and valve clearances - anything else I should check before Tuesday?

That sounds like a lot of money for an hourly rate, most I've ever paid is £50odd/hour

Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph

Cheers matey - I check tyre pressure on a weekly basis anyway, but I re-check before I leave for the session.

Holy shit.

So what should I really expect for my money?

What does everyone else get?

Surely you don't get a full remap for £30 p/h?

What ECU are youy running? If its the emerald as per mine then get it down to Dave Walker at emerald. Alternativley if your running a similar set up to me then i would be happy to send you a copy of my map to help get things started. I had very similar problems when i first supercharged my MPI. Whos kit do you have or is it a home brew? Also be worth getting a map sensor and IAT sensor on if you havent already. If you search for some of my past threads then you will prob find some usefull info etc.

It's one of Stuart Gurrs' MPI150 kits - I fitted it myself, so it's the Emerald.

Yeah, I'd love to take it to Dave Walker, but I'm just outside Edinburgh so it's a fair old trek and I really can't afford any more days of work or Uni.

I'd appreciate a copy of the map, that's a really nice gesture - at least I'd be in a better position than I am now.

I've had a wee search and had a good read through your posts - defo gonna look at a MAP sensor and the IAT sensor, but I'm rather skint atm so I'll need to wait until the funds are less drastic.

I'll drop you a PM re the map.

Was at RR today, but never made it on the rollers.

Having some problems with the CAS signal - it seems to drop off at low RPM. There isn't a problem with the sensor itself - for some reason the signal just disapears. Hmmmm.

The dyno chap also wanted some small problems sorted out before they would put it on. These included the belt system is chaffing slightly as its a couple of mm of centre and the IAT sensors should be mounted after the Eaton.
