well here it is, finally got off my a*s and uploaded some pics of the turbo or "monster" as its been known
its still work in progress, and youll have to excuse the slightly "dodgy" bonnet as its only a temp thing.

needs lowering and some uprated shocks to sort the handling out as its already got ap 4 pot callipers and vented discs..and im contimplating a clubman front end to free up some much needed space.

engine is running pretty standard, apart from the intercooler and cooling upgrades, and a slight increase in boost, im running a front mounted 125 bike rad and fan along side a slightly upgraded side mount rad and 14inch fan, and have a race spec motorbike electric water pump plumbed which has the cooling sorted nicely.

interior is nicley sorted, and my current thrown of choice is a fibre glass momo race seat (im 6ft 4 so needthe space :) )

my atrisit sides kicking in and id liek to do something abit different with the syling ( colour change and some subtle body mods) but we'll see, as i might want to do some go faster upgrades

hahah well it was either that or driving round with no bonnet :) and i didnt think the plob would like that...the pics or the engien are alittle old and its now got the water pump,extar rad and fan under there.... kad style bonnet on the way

Hope you get the problems sorted.

I do like it. My only niggle is the bonnet. With a bit more consideration, the pipework would easily fit under a standard one.

i knew the bonnet would get some attention :) i promise its being worted asap i just wnated to get it all running properly and get things up and runnign before moving onto the cosmetics...and wolfie yeh i live in stratton, are you local boy then ? ...thats not your zeemax kitted mini down the road from me is it ??

hahah your not a fan then :) it looks liek its going ot be pretty impressive when tis finished...literally just a rolling chassis at the minute by the looks of it .... theres alot of minis in our area,but its almost a certainty seen you at some point though, was a VERY tidy orange mni only just down the road from me a while back, not sure if thats anything to do with you? :)
im considering a colour change soon and have narrowed it down to a couple of options.
porsche gt3 blue ,black roof and arches, wheels completley gloss black

audi white, black roof ,white arches..then red or blue wheel centres.

honda granada black in slightly satin finish, roof and arches fully gloss black , with wheels powerdercoated white.

not that i really have to say it but, oppinions welcome :)

looks good, the bonnets different, but in a good way :)

as above i'm not a big fan of the bonnet either, bit its way better than a scooby scoop on there :)

you could stick a std bonnet on and kick the back up?

thanks for the comments boys.. the bonnet was slightly raisedat the back before but was just waaay too high with the new hardware under there...ive had a look and i reckon i can def get it all much lower without much effort as ive still got some alloy piping and connectors kicking about...space is a premuim since the extra rad and fan went in tho.
im unsure of power output at the minute, needs a RR session really...id like to think with it running 8psi and with the intercooler it should be good for 100bhp ? really want to get a decent head for it , and maybe get a decompression plate on there just to drop the comp abit till i can afford new pistons

well when you get a decent head you wont need a de comp plate. just give your head to benross or turbo phil for some work :) 28cc chambers will see your compression right :)

The bonnet doesnt cause me to much offence

You need to move that intercooler to a place wehere it will get some air though

my thoughts exactly mate...ive just got to get a coupel siline bends and ill mount it upright..possible make some kind or air ram to go fro mteh hoels i nthe bonnet right into it.
and Jamz i like your way of thinking :) a nicely sorted head sounds liek the way to go then :)
