Hi all,

Bit of a dilema, got an A Series 1300 solid tappet cover engine in the mini atm which I'm planning to turbo.

I also have a standard 1275 SPi engine that I could use.

The A Series engine in the car atm has a remote sc gearbox which I want to use, if I decide to go with the SPi block I will have to use the A series drop gears and transfer housing.

Does the SPi block offer anything over the 1300? I'm thinking strength wise?

Hope that all makes sense.

I thought that may be the answer, just wanted someone else to confirm it before I parted any cash with MED.......
