did i ever post the pics of the mini that the chap in herefordshire did for us as a favor!

front doesnt look bad in pics, but they were dented were he had hammerd them to get the gap right one he welded them on >_< (twat)



turbo box. . . .had some nice gaps on the insided (the bloke made it, and it was made of like 1mm steel!!)



valence. . . hmm suposed to be attached



hinge panel. . . could be used as a postbox i supose?



repairs ( gone rusty :L )



a-panels. . . he cut them down rather than folding them round (cant find pic)

boot floor. . . rivits are lighter than weld?



the floors dont look to bad. . . .apart from that fact they were welded over the top of the old ones!!!

this was at mates rates :L had an agreed price of £800. but took it from the garage before he made it worse :/

That boot hinge panel, is over the original aswell?

yeah it was, he told us he had worked in a mini only garage aswell!

People who class that sort of work as a repair shouldn't be working on cars.

that is dreadful workmanship! Basically back to square 1 and start again?

it was going to cost around £1500 to do it properly + more money to fix what had been done, in the end we gave it to some guy who had a transit van lol

but you still have to fix it so although i think the £1500 is to much for the work you needed you will spend more than that in the long run

personally i think £800 as a mate rate was far far to much even if it had been a good job, you can pick up a good shell for less
