right after the saga's ive been having with the truck ive decided to take all the turbo parts off for a while and just go NA until i have more time, money and sunshine.

i have a MG metro 1275cc head(standard)
and carb and inlet to match aswell as an LCB,

just have a couple of worries as such,

1.I only have MJ, i dont have a dizzy or even a drive on the cam for that matter so i cant change it to a dizzy, but my MJ runs off a MAP sensor, not a tps, now what can i do here to sort this or wont i see any real issues? I know i'l have to change the map to suit as i doubt the turbo one will be remotely an good.

2.I'm running an electric pump and dont even have a mech one, i was thinking about just lowering the fuel pressure?but to what psi?
and will this be ok?
il leave the regulator in,

any extra tips or advice would really help
thanks*smiley*

I bet my first wank came quicker than your first mini turbo

These new modern turbos with their quick spool up time, would make the competition harder.

1. The map should be OK, it will just be running in the off boost area, e.g. vacuum. Just plumb the map sensor to the inlet manifold so it can sense load.

2. Leave the fuel system alone, just leave the boost sensing connection to the regulator open to atmosphere.

Easy peasy!

but with the intercooler still connected it'l still do its job, and what i meant neil is that nothing will be lost by keeping it like that.
