Ive always had S steering arms on the sprint but was looking at changing them to std (8.4" disk type) and just noticed they give a very different angle. I was always under the impression that S were just beefier.

I thought they where the same angle just stronger, when I changed to S arms, I didn't have to adjust my tracking by more than a few mins which I thought was down to the old arms being bent slightly. IMO not enoughh to worry about On 15th May, 2009 TurboDave said:

I'm fairly sure Mk1 (and possibly Mk2) arms were different as were the steering racks, they were revised at one of the Mark changes to increase the turning circle. 14.914 sec 1/4 mile @ 91.38mph, NA 1293cc on 1.1/2" SU's (all steel and glass shell) |

MK1 arms are different. These can easily be identified of the lack of the two small lugs.
