Ive always had S steering arms on the sprint but was looking at changing them to std (8.4" disk type) and just noticed they give a very different angle. I was always under the impression that S were just beefier.

Whats the preferred ones with you guys? Bearing in mind I dont go blasting round the lanes anymore

I thought they where the same angle just stronger, when I changed to S arms, I didn't have to adjust my tracking by more than a few mins which I thought was down to the old arms being bent slightly. IMO not enoughh to worry about

When I held one of each together there was a huge difference.
Ill investigate to see if theyre bent

aye the metro arms are longer . i ran them for high speed stability when doing over a tonne., made the turning circle crap though.

Definately not Metro, Id take a picture but the Mrs has taken the mother-in-law to see her sister for the weekend and taken the camera with them

I'm fairly sure Mk1 (and possibly Mk2) arms were different as were the steering racks, they were revised at one of the Mark changes to increase the turning circle.

14.914 sec 1/4 mile @ 91.38mph, NA 1293cc on 1.1/2" SU's (all steel and glass shell)

MK1 arms are different. These can easily be identified of the lack of the two small lugs.
