Hello all turbomini-ers. This is a bit of a weird request, but living in the U.S. really limits my ability to look. My wife and I are trying to move across the pond to your side in the U.K. and after doing a bit of research(and by a bit I mean several books, and a few days online...) I've come to the conclusion that I will not be able to get a work permit in the U.K. without having first gotten a job offer. I'm looking for anything having to do with cars, mini's preferably, that I can send a resume to. If you have e-mail, phone number or whatever of the company I would appreciate anything you can give me. Thanks for all your help guys!

-James

What exactly are you looking for? Mechanic job? Sales? restoration?

I'm not suggesting that I can help, but it might be better if you specify. A resume is called a CV (curriculum Vitae) in this country.

Thanks for the tip on the CV Wil. I'm looking for either a mechanic or resto job. Sales aren't really my thing. As for where I want to live, I liked wales when I was there, but I'm not too picky at present. I'll pretty much live where there's a job.

King Gaycharger, butt plug dealer, Sheldon Cooper and a BAC but generally a niceish fella if you dont mind a northerner

Rotherham, South Yorkshire

Finding a job will be the biggest chalenge. We're only just out of recesion and jobs are few and far between. I'd love to change jobs but where I am is relativly stable so I'm grining and bearing it for now.
