ok i have used the search button but still am a little unclear, i have fitted mk1 brake calipers to my mini but i cant seem to bleed the brakes properly, a guy suggested to me that the 87 duel brake line (disk brake) master cylinder wont be sufficent to use with these calipers and that i should use a servo...can anyone shed some light on this for me or even shed some light as to why when bleeding the brakes the fluid will just stop coming out randomly and that the air just keeps coming |

the standard dual line master will be absolutely fine with the fiesta brakes, most people don't use a servo at all. I do on mine, and tehy're very harsh, to the point where I'm fitting the non servo master asap!

I recently fitted my MK2 fiesta calipers, I had lots of air in the system after the first bleed attempt, so I did the lot again and adjusted the rear drums , now the mini has some serious stopping power.
Cheers, Andrew
