chaps i've been doing a few comparison sites & i'm struggling to get a cheap quote on my metro turbo

now due to loosing my no claims bonus proof due to forgetting who i was previously insured with & shredding documents i should'nt have i now only have 1 years no claims rather than my previous 7 grrrrrrrrrrrrrr
i also have one 1 speeding offence, £63 but no points!

anywhoo i need to insure the car to get her on the road & go & pick up some bits off various folk, some on here!

any advice/companys i've usually done well on tesco compare but not with this

i only do about 4000miles a year at a very very maximum as i cycle alot

i use adrian flux for one mini and peter best for the other. its worth phoning around i think

Try quotes for classic car insurance as you don't need no claims (but you don't accrue any either).

NFU for me, they're the only place that would insure me, but i am a young'un.

HIC for me... have always been the cheapest.

fckinblinding, i've been refured to a company through sureterm & i got what i think is a good quote

5000miles, breakdown,screen, third party on any other car

£211 fully comp with an agreed value on the car

so i'm quite chuffed at that!

Have you tried HIC?

I insure the turbo and another mini, both fully comp for under £300 together.

Get a classic car policy with limited mileage.

Plus, don't worry about the no claims bit. You can't use NC to get a discount on the classic policy. But if you later move to another policy which does allow NC, they will give you a certificate that shows you have not claimed and you will continue to build your NCB.

i've found my two previous cars that i insured when i had 6 years no claims so gonna get on to the insureance beuruo onto the case so hopefully i can insure my 3 motors on a miltu car policy that should be cheaper overall

i'm pretty chuffed with £211 fully comp with an agreed value! breakdown etc reasuring when you drive a older car as a daily!

if i've broken down in any of my previous old/classic daily drivers fortunately i've usualy fixed it & gone home before the recovery have arrived LOL

yes like a fool i tell people every thing about my car. The only trouble i had with flux was they could get in there head it was only a small shot.

I have heard of people having their premiums wieghted for the total capability of the system fitted, lol, some V8s could easily do another 500hp
