well i have always wanted one and i saw it come up local to me from a importer that imported it 2weeks ago. went and saw it Sunday and just loved it! so put down my deposit to collect it Sunday*happy*

Its a 1991 Nissan Pulsar GTI-R, 2.0 16v Turbo plus AWD8-)

basically i wanted a another car mid this year as my daily (punto turbo) as its pain in ass trying keep it on road and i didn't want a N/A car so i have got this instead! some may say its ugly i couldn't agree more but i think its so ugly it looks good! only thing i don't like is the alloys so i will swapping them for some others when i have bit of cash

i did pay allot for this if not more then its worth but its only done 48k miles,1 owner and full service history also it is in mint condition with not a mark on it. it came with a set of Tein Coilovers and 3 strut braces (yes 3!) so there wont be another one like it. also this does mean the mini turbo project is on hold for a little bit but im going on work on the little things in the mean time (getting the block done etc....)

so heres the pics

I've always quite liked those, but Neil is right, the gearboxes are made of cheese.

Awesome, awesome, awesome!! I absolutely love it. I remember reading somewhere that it's the gearbox cases that explode under drag type starts. get JohnK to cryo treat it 8-)

done abit more research on them and it seems its where people are launch them off the lights and abusing the gearboxes (ending in stripping gears and blowing transfer boxes)

but with this being very low millage and non abused i think it should be just fine as i know for sure i wont be abusing it!

well its home! and it drives lovely! no knocks or rattles!

also after a good look have found it also has a lower brace (so four in total),short shifter(one of the best short shifters i have used very short and just slots straight into gear!,uprated clutch

couple of piccys
(the bonnet was open on first one)

so i am very chuffed! cant wait to get it on the road now!

These new modern turbos with their quick spool up time, would make the competition harder.
