Hi all, I hope the owner doesn't mind the post just some pics of another K-Head A-series on a 1071 SA crank, built in AUS.

He got some great results at the rolling road @16 PSI, I thought it would be good to post as a comparison..

Hope you don't mind Ben.

I've always wanted a 1071...

I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.

Is that 8v or 16v?

In which case that seems pretty good.

Heres a pic of it now it is all finished.
The engine uses an A+ block with a South African 1071 crank lightened standard con rods and custom forged pistons, which have a large compression height to compensate for the shorter stroke. Should have had longer rods made or shortened the block in retrospec but the engine was orginally built supercharged then turboed five port and now modded to take the standard 8v BMW head. Management is taken care by an Australian made EMS computer. Turbo is one from a Nissan 180sx CA 18 engine so is nothing flash. The manifolds and piping I made and the fitting kit is one of TheMiniMan's.
Power is all over by about 7500RPM so it is not a high reving engine as everybody thinks a 1071 should be.
Will see how well it goes tommorrow at the first round of the state circuit race championships series:)
And no it's OK Gr4h4m
