Basically what do people use as a wideband sensor?
Im looking to get one so i can tune my carb better than by ear.
I did see this one

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...#ht_2050wt_1165

Im looking to set the carb up with a bit more than by ear.
What else do people use?
Im running a single carb and will be turboing it in the future so itll get a workout.
Cheers,
Joe

Innovate and Techedge seem to be the preferred makes by those on here who know, but I have used an AEM, which is cheaper and easier to instal and seems OK to me.

If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of.

I have an Innovate XD-16 and LC-1. I had read that they were difficult to install but I really didn't have any trouble. I set up the LC-1 first and then added the XD-16 gauge.

I'll be using a kit from 14point7.com for my next one though as I have no money

Thanks Joe. That's a great price considering it includes a wideband sensor. I'll be getting one when I need it.

I haven't seen Bat on here in ages.

The dual AFR and EGT would be handy for sure.

AEM's can be had for under £170 though, which is pretty damn cheap !

The one thing I REALLY like about the AEM gauge is the analougue LEDs around the outside. In the same way that I dislike using digital DTI's - an analogue display is easier and faster for your brain to adjust to than having to interpret and convert digital numbers.
Perhaps I just have a slow brain - but I don't think so given that dial DTI's still WAY outsell digitals - something that shouldn't really happen these days if you think about it...

I'd like an Analog AEM wideband however they are quite a bit dearer than the normal item.

All AEM gauges have the LED's around the outside - which is what i'm talking about as a quick visual indicator:

However - in wondering what you're talking about I just realised they make a nice full analogue gauge:

You got it TD! I really like that full analogue gauge.

Although its not "that" expensive if I really want one.
