I've looked on James's website at the MJ base map which shows 27 degrees advance on idle, this is based on a standard metro turbo dizzy, however i remember reading that you should never run more than 20 degrees advance at idle, is this figure correct and if so is it because it compensates for the vacuum advance being disconected? 15 degrees seems to be an ideal max figure, if you still need to raise the idle with that, add more air.
