well just took the turbo for the first proper run on the rd, shit! i've never driven a turbo before it flys !
i found it genuinley scarey, did any one else get this on their test run ?
also built up my confidence hit the peddle right down waited for the turbo to kick in full and whoosh my bonnet unhooked and covered my screen !
fuckin nearly crashed ! so the cars outside my house and i plan not to use it for a few days as i feel it wants to kill me.
also when the turbo kicks in first it whistles nice and if i hold the revs it cruises nice whith the turbo chuffing out this nice whistling noise but increase the revs and it just kicks in really hard, is this the norm, it sounds as if all the sudden my engine wants to blow up!

hehehe, my bonnet did exactly the same thing thats why ive got that ugly fibreglass one on now cos it bent me steel one to shit. just wait till it starts lurching for the kurb, thats pretty scary too!

mines the same! i did that to my bonnet pulling onto the moterway!

I think its proper scarey when it leaps accross the road when you floor it!!!

yes steve when i first did my motor many years a go my arse fell out with the sheer pull of the motor on only 14 psi boost nearly pulled me into an oncomming bus
be carefull! buddy
get used to it especialy powerin out of the corners...............

well, have had it peaking once or twice to 25psi ISH
but i normall run it around 16ish
i took an old friend of mine out for a spin some time ago he was 71 at the time
we went down the back lanes where i live and hit 25psiISH boost for ten seconds or so had to lift my foot as the motor started to detonate, he was scare out of his wits with the sheer shove of the motor comming out of the bends.
good fun though. *happy*

i bet some may say 25psi! thats not possible?
