Had a good snoop at lots of posts. Genreal impression:
turbos = lots of fun
fitting + fettling = lots of grief.
(But no one every asks for help when things go right.)

Since I'm building a small bore engine, do the available turbo / supercharger kits make the job significantly easier. I want to be able to bolt it all togeather, take it to a rolling road and then forget about what's under the bonnet. TBH it sounds unlikely, but is it?

For no good reason my heart says super rather than turbo.

(BTW I am aware that stuart gurr - vmaxscart sells / builds kits. So the question is about these and others.)
