Does anyone use this function? And is it worth it?

I bet my first wank came quicker than your first mini turbo These new modern turbos with their quick spool up time, would make the competition harder. On 15th Aug, 2011 robert said:

A bit like launch control, microswitch fitted to clutch pedal or linkage somewhere so ECU knows when clutch is disengaged and, with throttle wide open (ie, foot flat on the floor, hence the phrase flatshift) limits engine revs to a set figure by retarding ignition and/or fuel flow. Thus for leaving the line or changing gear you never take your right foot off the floor and the ECU does the rest maintaining high engine speed and high exhaust gas flow to keep the turbine spooled up.
